These are the main two features of the package.Ī plugin mechanism also exists in the script. You can tell SecuritySpy to send you pictures of any camera immediately (regardless of active/passive or motion detection settings). What can you do with this? You can tell SecuritySpy to send you pictures from your cameras when they detect motion. I've tested this on 10.11 and 10.12, but it may work on older versions of Mac OS X. I've created two scripts that allow you to interact with and control part of SecuritySpy using iMessages and the Messages.app. It support macOS 10.12, 10.13 and probably even 10.14. I am now (slowly) working on a new Golang application called motifini. I've since found another way to handle incoming imessages, but not using applescript. ![]() Apple removed imessage handler support from Messages.app in macOS 10.13, rendering this suite of scripts useless.
